Do you know-and by all means call me an ignoramous- I had no idea that Japan got so much snow (or even any, save for up the mountains!), in my brain, I'd always seen it as a HOT place! Anyways-blogtastic, very enterprizing. Also very brave and impressive what you're doing.. and/or stupid ;-) Take care, Moz x

Sorry Moz, only just saw your nice comments. Thank you! All going well so far but it's very tough, a lot tougher than the US. I'm a little bit behind but if I do a couple more 100+ days I'll be back on track. Stupid? Maybe. Stupid and happy? Definitely! xx

oh, wow! What a wonderful adventure you are on again! I'm hopping over from Kristy's blog to see what you are up to! Japan is such a great experience and you will get to see so much of it that tourists and other visitors don't get to see!

If at all possible, I highly recommend taking a trip to Miyajima. It's a small island near Hiroshima and one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Have a wonderful trip--I'm excited to read the details and see all the photos--I hear you can share an onsen (mineral hot spring) bath with monkeys in Hokkaido!
