Had another rest day today. Booked my ferry across to Honshu, Japan's main Island and took lots of photos. Hakodate is a strange town, everybody seems to know a few words of English. It was the first port in Japan to be open to international trading so it might be something to do with that. Just like to add that I haven't seen another caucasian person since Asahikawa, nearly a week ago.

What I share the road with. Japanese trucks are really cool, drivers customize them with chromed bodywork and colour coordinated lights to match the paint work. They also give you lots of room when they overtake.
