Took the ferry from Hakodate to Aomori. I'm now on Honshu, the largest of Japan's 400 islands. Only cycled 28 miles from Aomori to Hirosaki today. Neither Hirosaki or Aomori are that interesting as Japanese cities go but Hirosaki is a good place to start my journey down the length of Honshu from. My hotel was cheap as well.
